40th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION
A HUGE thank you to everyone who attended our 40th Anniversary Event on Sunday. It was hot - perhaps a bit too hot - but everyone who attended seemed to thoroughly enjoy themselves!
Big shout outs to Cazzi Magic who spent the day painting faces and modelling balloons into swords, flowers, hats - all kinds of things - and to Ed from Mini Monsters who fascinated our visitors with his collection of millipedes, snakes, cockroaches, tarantulas and, the undoubted star of the show, Winston, the bearded dragon!
The biggest shout out must go to Sarah Mai who performed all afternoon, both solo and with her band, entertaining everyone with a fab selection of jazz infused classics perfect foe such a hot day - I want some of her energy!!!
We presented Judy & Peter with a fantastic stained glass panel to display in their garden, commissioned by us and designed and made by Julie from Alby Stained Glass who have a shop & workshop in Bluebell Square. We also presented them with a huge cake made by our restaurant guys which looked brilliant - thanks to them. I think both Judy & Peter were a little overwhelmed!
I must also thank Hoggies Norfolk who valiantly spent the day providing & running the BBQ - the hottest place on site! Also huge thanks to Mel & Stacey who were superb running the Beer Tent, quenching punters thirsts being a very important part of the proceedings!
The biggest thanks, however, goes to you - our customers - fantastic on the day and fantastic over the past 40 years!
